Homemade Strawberry Matcha Latte is a delicious and refreshing tea drink that contains both fruit and tea flavor. The beautiful layers are made with three simple ingredients that you can easily make at home.
What is Strawberry Matcha Latte?
- The Strawberry Matcha Latte is a craft tea drink made with matcha powder, milk, and strawberry jam for its special taste. Since matcha is unsweet and a little bit bitter by itself, adding the strawberry jam and milk makes a smooth and mild taste.
- It’s also a healthy drink with multiple benefits, including refreshing your thoughts and concentrating your mind, detoxifying your body, and burn fat to help lose weight.

What are the ingredients?
- Matcha Powder- Matcha is a Japanese green tea, which concentrates more on the tea flavor. It is a healthy ingredient that is used a lot often these days for making drinks or pastries. Besides, people also enjoy the matcha in its traditional way called “classic usucha’, which whisk the matcha powder with boiling water.
- Water
- Milk- You can use all kinds of milk instead of cow milk if you are vegan or lactose tolerance.
- Sugar
- Strawberry Jam- I used the homemade strawberry jam in this recipe to leverage the fruit taste for the drink.
Can I make Strawberry Matcha Latte vegan?
- Yes, this is a vegan-friendly drink. You can use any dairy-free milk, such as soy milk or oat milk instead of cow milk in this recipe.
What to serve with this drink?
- It would be fun to add more toppings to the drink, such as tapioca balls, taro balls.
- You can serve the drink with homemade mini burgers, which is a great idea for brunch.
